We already have a VVX 500 for testing here. After configuring it manually
it registers and all in all works fine. The touchscreen is easily operated.
Sound quality is fine.

Big improvement: With the delivered 4.x firmware the polycom supports the
reason header. So: No missed calls with multiple registrations and
call-groups like in 3.2.2/3.2.4 with our SP450/SP550.

Up to now we did not run tests of further functions. (e.g. we did not find
MoH option field at the web-interface. Maybe this has to be configured
through configuration files)

Regards

Jan

I actually knew that... new firmware support have to start somewhere.

It will not be manageable out of the box. It requires firmware 4.0 and

Looks neat, surely it will be a while before sipx can support it due to the
firmware version and additional featurews to be configured from sipx. Has
anyone tried this device yet manually?
