Setup the extension of the existing pbx in sipXecs with an automatic call forward rule that routes to the existing pbx.
* ext: 201 is on existing pbx * Setup 201 on sipXecs - set to call forward to 7200 (where 7 is a dial rule to send to the gateway that interfaces with existing pbx) - you can also set it to call forward to any external number as well I've done this to give click to call functionality to users on our legacy pbx. However, I was looking to do an integration with an existing PBX where I need sipX to setup a call to an external number, meaning the originating party would be external to the sipX and not a registered user. Is this not possible with the API? Using MyBuddy for example you could do something like "call 201 from 98002223333" and it works fine. With the API it requires party 1 to be a registered user. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/ This message and any files transmitted with it are intended only for the individual(s) or entity named.
