DNS is setup correctly internally and externally. :) Let's get that out of the picture right away.

The issue I am having is that when I register my softphone internally, that is to say I am on the same network as the Sipx server, registrations are fine. When I am remote, using public wifi, registration is perfectly fine. SRV records are good on both sides of the network.

However...

When I attempt to register over 4G, I get the same error message -- universal, no matter the softphone client I use -- that registration failed because of an authorization error. When I use my laptop tethered to the phone, my PC softphone gives me the same type of response. It's as if the password is being mangled by Verizon.

Does anyone have any information on what I may be doing wrong or what Verizon may be doing to block VoIP?
