OK, did a complete re-install. Running DNS on the phone server with a forward 
to the windows DNS server. Using a subdomain for the phone server. Call 
transfers are still very slow (20 sec. to connect!)

That's being addressed in 4.6 (changing domain names) in sipx easily).

I always suggest using a real domain name using a sub domain so you never have 
to in fight on dns.

I would suggest a reinstall accordingly...

Over the last weekend one of our installations had an outside IT firm add new 
DHCP & DNS servers. They also changed their internal domain from .com to 
.local. We added an alias for the .local in System->Domain and the system came 
back up and calls were processed. Today however, calls transferred to stations 
are sloooooow to connect and calls from the AudioCodes to IVR's and stations 
are experiencing the same problem.
