Hi All, After recently trialing an ITSP with a single DID and sipx I went ahead and asked them to provide a SIP Trunk with a 150 DID range.
I was expecting 1 account number to register with as a gateway ITSP and that all calls in/out of that DID range would go over the one trunk.. Instead I received a list of 150 different login names/passwords. I contacted support and asked if it could be configured to use just the one registered connection and was told for inbound calls to the DID they could send the calls directly to my sipx server (makes sense) and have the DID routing handled there.. but for outbound calls I would either need to register each DID as a separate gateway (and as far as I can tell set up different dialplans etc?) if I want the outbound Caller IDs to use the appropriate extensions DID.. (Or just have all calls go out through one number - ugh!). Have other people experience with ITSPs that have similar restrictions? If so is there an easy way to configure multiple ITSP account settings on the one trunk - and have it aware of which to use depending on the outbound Caller ID instead of having to set up 150 different trunks? Thanks for your help! Daniel---------- The information contained in this email and any attachments is confidential and/or privileged.
