You can do it similarly with nginx or lighthttpd. I don't think this should be a sipx specific discussion unless the feature is going to be added to support xhtml file hosting by sipx. I think we've discussed that before, and I recall the xhtml strict stuff as being more problematic to code for than standard stuff (to get the output). While that may have changed over time, we are now seeing less strict browsers being put on phones (i.e. vvx and panasonic android sip phones), which changes the way we would have looked at this yet again.
