All, I thought the bridged-line-appearance (shared lines) were only failing when call extensions on the old Cisco system. However, this may now be the case. I just had another stop working.
Experience: Phone with BLA gives brief dial tone and then goes off hook. Pressing the BLA key does the same thing. Brief dial tone and then goes off-hook. Short-term resolution: Restart all phones with the BLA appearance. Firmware: 3.2.6.0314 Bootrom: 3.1.6.0011 This feature so far seems to be buggy in this fashion, It is also a must-needed feature for our offices as everyone is complaining they cannot place a line on hold and pick it up from another phone. (Almost all lines are single-line-appearances). We are only testing BLA in two offices. Is anyone using shared line with success? If so, are you on a different firmware/bootrom? The wiki states there is a bug with retrieving a held call that has been left on hold for a long duration, however, that is the only bug listed there. Any advise/help would be appreciated.
