Hi,
I’m currently struggling with the configuration of Karoo as SBC. My
Scenario is nearly the same like in the Configuration Sample in the wiki (
http://wiki.sipfoundry.org/display/sipXecs/Karoo+Configuration+Samples).
CentOS 6.2 64-bit with Karoo 1.4.0.0
Internet <-> Transparent Router (Firewall) <-> Karoo <-> LAN <-> SipX
External: Public IP Port 5080
Internal: Natted IP Port 5060
Between the external IP and the public internet there is a transparent
firewall which has a whiteliste with ports (udp 5080 and udp 10000 –
10200) that are forwarded to the external interface of the karoo system.
The routing works fine but karoo does not act as a B2BUA. That’s important
because it does not remap RTP ports. Karoo is configured to us 10000-10200
(rtp-proxy-port-base = 10000; rtp-proxy-port-max = 10200;). But it just
passes e.g. 30035 (which is in the configured port range of my polycom).
30035 is not configured in the firewall so there is no incoming audio. I’d
also expect the User-Agent header to be OSS Karoo Bridge. Actually it is
transparently passed (User-Agent:
PolycomSoundPointIP-SPIP_450-UA/3.2.6.0314).
I thought adding profile.bridge("dummyuser", "dummypassword"); in the
javascript routing would set karoo to B2BUA mode but it does not change
anything. I don’t need authentication on both sides so user is dummyuser
and password dummypassword.
Debugging did not help. Started karoo with karoo –C and increased the
log-level with set log-level debug but it does not print anything.
Sincerely
Jan
