Hi Jakson,

AMR is not enabled by default in the system but there is support for it in
Freeswitch (mod_amr).  So, you would just need to compile and load that
module for media services (please note that park and the legacy ACD are not
in freeswitch yet so those will not work with that codec).

Additionally, openUC is NOT a B2BUA as many other systems are.  The proxy
is a stateless design.  As such the media (voice) does not need to flow
through the server.  Thus, whatever codecs end-points agree on will work
and does not need to be built into the system.

So, for example, if you have 2 phones and both have AMR and G.711 the
phones could be set to prefer AMR but if they needed to talk to media
services on sipXecs/openUC they would fall back to G.711.
