Very easy to do and I will give it a try. I overwrote the default device group setting and changed to IP. I am only running a test environment.
In production for a small business DNS can be tricky if you are running phones in a remote location where the DNS server at the remote location does not understand your local domain name. IP address can make it much easier in these circumstances.
