Generating a random password when you do not email the user the password or let the admin see the password is a completely useless feature. OpenUC emails users, that's fine, but sipXecs has all these buttons that admin should never press because it will only create an account no one can log into. Am I missing something? I understand not having time to implement all the extra features folks are suggesting, but i don't think you can leave it half done. It seems you have to back-out the buttons but again, maybe I'm missing something. Disclaimer: ezuce employees would be restricted from implementing feature to email users their password as this would compete with an OpenUC feature. Normally this wouldn't restrict non-ezuce employee to submit a patch, however 4.6.0 is closed for new features, so it kinda of does for right now. _______________________________________________ sipx-users mailing list [email protected] List Archive: http://list.sipfoundry.org/archive/sipx-users/
