Actually, I just read the wiki. It states that if an extension is used more than once the subsequent additions will only ring once. This is not strictly the case. If the same extension is used consecutively, it will only ring the first time, but if it has a ringdown sequence between iterations of the same extension it will ring both times. Maybe not particularly useful, but not really harmful.
The Wiki also states that using nested hunt groups can give unpredictable results and for that reason is not recommended.
