Ok so Tommy... lets say your sipXecs server is in domain xyz.com and has an authoritative dns server for that domain but has no MX records in it...
Now lets say that this same server wants to send mail to xyz.com. So it does an mx record lookup for xyz.com and do you think it will find a mail server? So, look at the mx records you have at network solutions. Replicate the mx records and the corresponding A records into your zone file (located in /var/named/ ). When you're done, restart named (service named restart) and if you haven't muffed the file format named will start. Voila... DNS magic.
