Tony/George, Thanks for the help. I did have the message logging enabled in the advanced settings for Instant Messaging but the file wasn't there.
I changed the setting manually in the config like you both suggested and now it's showing up. I'll dig in deeper and make sure it's not going to change back after an update or simply a reboot over the weekend when I have more time. And consider a JIRA after that. I appreciate the quick response and direction to a resolution.
