Speex is already integrated into sipXtapi. It is still in experimental
(but working)
stage, so it is not included in mainline builds. You may check out it from
sipXtapi-media-update svn branch. I suppose integrating GSM codec is
not too hard - it may take a week or so. Contact me please, if you want to
go on. I'll give you some advises. :)
