ALSA is not supported directly, no. But it works perfectly fine with OSS
emulation drivers of ALSA.

If you have enabled the new topology flowgraph in sipXmediaAdapterLib
(search archives for proper defines necessary when building), you will find
use of a new audio driver interface mechanism. This new approach is very
modular, and you could easily write an ALSA interface. It would be a good
contribution to sipXtapi! More audio driver interfaces is good :)

Eventually we will be turning the topology flowgraph on by default, but we
currently have not done that yet, as it changes a *lot* of code.
