Hi all,

I want to develop a sipXtapi application which supports 8 simultaneous calls.

What is the best way to this?

a) Initialize one SIPX_INST handle (sipXInitailize), add 8 lines to this
instance and create up to 8 calls to this instance. If I have 8 simultaneous
calls active will the audio of the remote subscribers be bridged in my audio
output device?
or
b) Initialize 8 SIPX_INST handles, add one line to each instance and create
only one call to each instance. I have more than one audio output device (2 or
3) and for every call I want to have the capability to select the audio output
device independent from the other calls. My understanding of the sipXtapi
functions was that it is only possible to assign audio devices to SIPX_INST
handles and not to SIPX_CALL handles. Can I use the
sipxAudioSetCallOutputDevice( ) function to change the output device during a
call is active?

Thank you and

Best regards
