software: systemimager 3.1.4-1, RH 7.3

I am attempting to install to a DL380G3 with 2 connected ethernet ports,
eth0 is connected to an internal network, that has the imageserver on it
and eth1 is connected to our building backbone. With just eth0
physically connected the install works fine, but when both are connected
it fails, trying to access the image server over the buildings'
connection. it appears someone else is running an image server on the
backbone and my system is contacting it...

My question is, without physically disconnecting the cable, is there a
way I can disable eth1 from being activated? Maybe in the /etc/Rcs file
in the initrd?

Thanks,
