The 1.2.0 release is considered "stable", but has only had limited testing. The group here that uses si the most will be doing more work with imagemanip this coming week, so if you see more releases of the 1.2.x line, you'll know they found bugs and I've made some patches. ;) I think it'd be great if more people were using it, so feel free to send it to the announce list.
