I just deployed an image captured from nodes with one Ethernet card type to nodes with a different Ethernet card type. Both drivers using modules.
Then I thought to myself, I better go modify modules.conf to be sure they're loading right. Naturally, I discovered that System Configurator had already done the job for me. :-) I realize this is a described behavior, but I had forgotten it, and this was my first time to need it personally.
