Category: systemimager-server Group: v3.2.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: David Ison (dtison) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: No ext3 or swap partitions for Fedora Core 2 Initial Comment: I have been doing extensive testing using FC 2 including kernel RAID and each time the system rebuilds from the image server *all* partitions are ext2, whereas the originals are ext3 or swap. >From a perusal of the code it seems the problem is somewhere in the program that creates the hostname.master rebuild script. On a RAID system the kernel boots but the last message that appears is "Could not find init. Try passing init= to the kernel." This appears to be because the /dev/md0 filesystem is formatted ext2 not ext3. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100259&aid=959224&group_id=259 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
