Sigh... Couldn't detect IDE harddrives with the 3.2.2 boot image on a Xeon mobo that works just fine with 3.2.0. I'm thinking devfs is broken for some varieties of i386 as well. It was a smp mobo, so the SMP=y isn't the issue. I only had time to test this twice today.
The master script was generated with 3.2.0, so maybe that was the problem. Will investigate further tomorrow.
