I have noticed this as well.  I think it's related to the effort to make 
netboot clients use their local disk once they're imaged. I also noticed (and 
was more concerned about) that you can't run mkbootserver multiple times.

That is, I think this is the right 'default' if and *only* if you plan to use 
mkclientnetboot to manage your pxe boot server. If you're like me, and have 
systems that say 'f12  == network boot" during the bios bootup, then you 
probably want the other to be the default.

See above.  I think this actually started with the 3.1.x series.  It's not 
specific to 3.2.0-1.

I think that mkclientnetboot can be used to manage whether a node uses its 
local disk image or the downloaded si kernel.

Perhaps mkbootserver should have an option to allow the choice of the default 
behavior?   Comments, Dann or Brian?
