Well.. moving x86 to a 2.6 kernel has turned out to be non-trivial - we need a new uclibc to build against 2.6 kernel headers, and we need a new busybox to build against the new uclibc - both of which have moved to a nicer kernel-like config system, which should simplify maintenance one we get over this hump. I've upgraded both packages in my tree, and everything builds, but I'm still debugging a dynamic linking problem with the initrd, and am giving up for the night.
