Summary: Kernel Panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to ker

Initial Comment:
We've tried many ways to pinpoint what could be wrong.
One thing I've noticed is that you need to have a /boot
partition if you plan to have a very large root partition.
But this last problem seem to be related to the software
raid partitions. When you use the Red Hat Enterprise
Linux 3.0 raid software to mirror your /boot and /
paritions the client allways fails to boot on the newly
taken image. The error message is as follows:

Loading raid0.0 module
md: raid0 personality registered as nr 2
Loading raid1.0 module
md: raid 1 personality registered as nr 3
Mounting /proc filesystem

Similar descriptions of the problem has been annonnced
with no official solution to it

We would be tremendously grateful for any help
recieved.

It seems as there i something wrong when the partitioning is
taking place. After booting on the CD running linux rescue and
running fsck on the / partition I get the information that the
parition is corrupt. And it seems to boil down to that the
parition table and the superblock contains different
information regarding the size of the / partition. Strangely it
doesn't complain about the /boot partition...
