Awesome, Cameron!

Thus spake Cameron Kerr ([EMAIL PROTECTED]):
Hello, I've been working on a solution to install machines from an image stored on CD or DVD onto the hard-drive. I've been chatting with Daniel about it (I go by the nick StMartin on #sisuite).

So far, it's coming together nicely. A brief progress report.

si_mkbootmedia has had a --type=rescuecd. Since images can't be prescribed from the server, and to facilitate selection of multiple images, --image has been added as well, and be given multiple times.

A new Perl package, BootMedia::RescueCD has been created.

Some subs in BootMedia::i386 and BootMedia::MediaLib have needed minor updates to allow for the provision of a caller-specified root ISO directory.

Currently, I am at a stage where the CD boots (I'm testing this in VirtualPC, for the moment), and the SystemImager scripts start running. I just need to make changes in initrd_source to the rcS and functions files.

I'm maintaining a write-up about it on the Wiki

        http://wiki.sisuite.org/FrontPage

If anyone is available to test the Alpha architecture, I would be grateful, as there was a minor change made to BootMedia::alpha.pm, but I don't have such a machine to test it on.
