Category: systemimager-server
Group: v3.0.1
Status: Open
Resolution: None
Priority: 5
Submitted By: Matthias Fechner (idefix6)
Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody)
Summary: parted: segmentation fault

Initial Comment:
i have created a disk and reboot the computer with it.
Than it will configure the network, fetch the needed
files from the server and if he start to part the
harddisk with parted, i get a segmentation fault and
the installprocess will break.
If i try to run parted from the console, i get
segmentation fault too.

The Version is 3.0.1-11, installed from the debian package.

I have got through the same trouble. I tried other commands
like sfdisk and ended with sementation fault too. Has
anybody found a work around or a solution to the problem ?

It looks like it happens with the commands which are not
part of the initial ramdisk. I am not sure though.
