Actually that won't solve Jeremy's problem with the Intel SATA adapter - we still need to create patches so that pci.lst file is actually correct (need to change a few instances of piix -> ata_piix). I'll need everybody's help in submitting a patch - and hopefully we can get a concise list which we can send upstream to the debian package maintainer.
