Better to bring the x86_64 kernel to 2.6.12.2. And ia64 too, if you can
test it and verify it works properly.

It works with ICH5, but apparently not ICH7 because 2.6.10's ata_piix.c
does not support it.
Should I simply patch ata_piix.c so that it supports ICH7, or is it
better that we bring x86_64 kernel to 2.6.12.2 (same as i386)?
