I think the argument I had was against dumping commit messages to the
devel list - I do think those should remain separate.  Not everyone
wants to see every code change, and it can cloud up discussions.  In
fact, we're currently fixing this for debian-kernel:

But having replies to commits go to devel sounds reasonable.
