So this is after you have imaged the node?  Have you tried using network boot?
 
What version of SystemImager are you using?  And what version of SystemConfigurator?

When using RPMs, you also need the systemimager-<arch>boot-standard package.  For your case, it would be systemimager-i386boot-standard.
