ok - i see it - how do you recommend using it? Has someone succesfully used
it with System Imager?

Ok - this is getting rediculous.
Have System Imager all Configured and working - Captured an Image off a
Client system.
NOW - want to Image it back.
Problem: NetBoot doesnt seem to work - i suspect a Old Bios - even
though it SAYS it's got "LAN" boot - it doesnt even attempt to PXE boot..
and there doesnt seem to be a Bios Patch for this IWILL box. (i386).
System DOESNT have a Floppy connector - Bought a USB
floppy drive... POOF - si_mkautoinstalldiskette doesnt like /dev/sda AT
ALL! going to take some SERIOUS effort to get that going.
CDROM boot - Doesnt work - has an Error on Grub (2nd
part). - i get the feeling this works best on debian rather than an RH or
CentOS friendly.
If anyone has another idea im ALL ears.
Thanks!

Fedora and Red Hat comes standard with tftp-server, you can use that.
As for the version of SystemImager, the following command will tell you -
presuming you installed the RPMs:
rpm -qa | grep systemimager-
Cheers,
Bernard

ok - never mind the mkbootserver - it was si_mkbootserver - so where is a
good spot to get a FedoraCore or REDHAT version of the Required PXE boot
daemon? http://dannf.org/systemimager is more Debian focused. (going down
the NetBoot Solution).
Thanks!

How do you "tell" what the versions are being used? - I simply
instalelled the Latest Stable version- Not using SystemConfigurator.
Any idea where "mkbootserver" is? didnt get installed with
systemimager-common or systemimager-server and
systemimager-i386boot-standard.
(i feel like a QC guy this week - heh)

So this is after you have imaged the node? Have you tried using network
boot?
What version of SystemImager are you using? And what version of
SystemConfigurator?
Cheers,
Bernard

When using RPMs, you also need the systemimager-<arch>boot-standard
package. For your case, it would be systemimager-i386boot-standard.
Cheers,
Bernard

Odd number of elements in hash assignment at /usr/bin/si_mkautoinstallcd
