RHEL4 has this strange thing where they specify the swap in the fstab with a LABEL field instead of a real partition. it looks like:
LABEL=SWAP-sda2 swap swap defaults 0 0 I pulled an image from a system with this sort of fstab entry for swap and then imaged a couple of systems. When those systems came up they did not have swap. I had to go in by hand on each imaged system and change the partition from type 83 to type 82 (the partition had been created just fine) and then do a mkswap on it. -----Original Message----- >From: Brian Elliott Finley <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Sent: May 3, 2006 1:05 AM >To: Bernard Li <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Cc: sisuite-devel@lists.sourceforge.net, [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: Re: [Sisuite-devel] ia64 success! > >In my testing today, I observed a grub issue on i386.
