I'll be testing the mdadm stuff today. Then I'll be happy to cut a release.
And yes, early and often ;-) -Brian -------------------------- Brian Elliott Finley Linux Strategist, CIS Desk: 630.252.4742 Mobile: 630.631.6621 -----Original Message----- From: Bernard Li To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] CC: sisuite-devel@lists.sourceforge.net; Finley, Brian E. I haven't tested any of the mdadm stuff - I would prefer that those at least get tested before we release, but otherwise, I think we're good. Anyway, before adding new features I think we could cut the 3.7.3 release. I've not tested the Brian mdadm stuff closely, but I think now the release in the trunk is quite stable (at least the r3583... there would be only this last fix about monitoring and bittorrent...). Brian, Bernard what do you think? release early, release often? ;-) http://www.free-soft.org/literature/papers/esr/cathedral-bazaar/cathedral-bazaar-4.html Cheers, -Andrea Bernard Li wrote: > Hi Andrea: > > I was thinking perhaps we should remove the hostname/ip address from the > virtual console log message since this information is already provided > via si_monitortk (and not to mention the hostname is on the title bar of > the virtual console window). > > This should give us more space for the real messages. > > Also, perhaps we can use a fixed-size font for the text instead of using > the default font? > > Lastly it would be handy to have an "export" button in the console such > that the mssages can be exported to a text file - eg. for users to > attach when they have problems with systemimager ;-) > > Just some suggestions. > > Thanks, > > Bernard Ym杽jLjvyاhZbAn\y^rr&8^(!zgfޮyڵǫ'qb{"^-x"۬jvƥJiB'$^j梷ǥjˬ}dj ɝ
