Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: systemimager-server Group: v3.7.3 >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Submitted By: Mitch Sako (msako) >Assigned to: Andrea Righi (righiandr) Summary: rsync daemon start issues Initial Comment: If a system happens to be running any non-daemon rsync processes, pidof will report these back to systemimager-server-rsyncd and the rsync daemon will not start. This requires that no rsync processes be running when a 'start' or 'restart' is requested. To add to the confusion, on RH the rsync daemon runs as a process called 'rsync' while on SuSE the rsync daemon runs as a process called 'rsyncd' No sure how to fix this. Perhaps a warning that there is already an rsync process running but not sure if it's rsync or rsyncd? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Andrea Righi (righiandr) Date: 2006-09-17 23:52 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=696767 Fixed in r3743. -Andrea ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=100259&aid=1550866&group_id=259 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
