It wasn't able to create the file, because the directory "my_modules doesn't exist. This is a nl on /usr/lib/systemimager/perl/SystemImager/UseYourOwnKernel.pm 53 my $my_modules_dir = "$staging_dir/my_modules"; 54 my $file = "$my_modules_dir" . "/INSMOD_COMMANDS"; 55 open( FILE,">>$file" ) or die( "Couldn't open $file for appending" ); You probably need to check if the directory exists and create it if it doesn't.
