yes, this was the problem. i'm now using the latest
version of systemimager (3.7.6), and the problem
doesnot occur anymore, thank u very much.

now another problem (for sure:) ) has occured, it is:

mkreiserfs /dev/hda5 || shellout
mkresierfs 3.6.19 (2003 www.namesys.com)
Failed to open '/dev/hda5': No such device or address
A pair of credits:
The Defensa Advanced Research Projects Agency(DARPA,
www.darpa.mil) is the primary sponsor of Reiser4.
DARPA doesnot endrose this project; it merely sponsors
it.
Joshua Macdonald wrote the first draft of transaction
manager. Yuri Rupasov did testing and benchmarking,
plus he invented the r5 hash (also used by the dcache
code). Yure Rupasov, Anatoly Pinchuk, Igor
Kransheninnikov, Grigory Zaigralin ... are former
contributers of the project.

killing off running processes.

when i tried to use mke2fs instead of mkreiserfs, i
got:
mke2fs: No such device or address while trying to
determine filesystem size
killing off running processes.

Yours

Heba
