hey Geoffroy,
 No problem. Actually, its quite easy to be a maintainer of a package
w/o being a debian developer - there's a process called sponsorship
that lets you do so. There's no requirement that you be a Debian
Developer in order to maintain a package, though it does help.

 However, maintaining (or at least, *properly maintaining*)
SystemImager packages is still a fairly timeconsuming job. Besides the
obvious work of keeping up with upstream changes, there's also
tracking the Debian kernel, dealing with toolchain compatability
issues (since SI compiles a significant amount of userspace),
architecture issues, and the one that always bit me: testing.
Team maintenance seems like a much better approach than expecting a
single person to handle all of this. Either way, I expect/hope that
any future contributions you make will be welcomed by the future
maintainer(s).
