OK, how can I tell if I am working with files that were created from the
SiS boot files? Anyone have a checksum or MD5 sum for the intrd.img file
that should have come with 3.1.4-1 ?

If you created your dhcpd.conf file w/ mkdhcpserver, please file a bug.

make sure your bootmedia was generated with the same version image server
you are running.
