Hey Jess,
I had an error similar to "ERROR: Unknown module 'image1'"
For some reason my image wasn't listed in /etc/systemimager/rsyncd.conf,
rsyncd didn't know the path to the image I was referencing. Make sure
that in /etc/systemimager/rsyncd.conf you have:
[image1]
path="Full Path Of Image"
Hope this helps,
Kevin

Subject: [Sisuite-users] ERROR: Unknown module 'image1'
Hi SIS-folks!
I've (presumably succesfully) installed SystemImager on my imageserver
(also dhcp server) and golden-client.
Pulling an image to a new node, using an autoinstall diskette fails with
the follwing lines of output:
ERROR: Unknown module 'image1'
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (44 bytes read so far).
The node booted from the autoinstall diskette, made the partitions (they
look about the right sizes) found and started to execute the correct
install script (/var/lib/systemimager/scripts/s01n01.sh ->
image1.master) on the image server, but obviously failed to find and/or
recognize the image (/var/lib/systemimager/images/image1).
The image was created by getimage and appears as an ordinary directory
sub-tree.
Since at least the Boel binaries are rsync'ed from the image server, I
assume that rsync works correctly.
Does the install process not find the image or does it not recognize it
as an image?
Versions are:
RH 8.0, kernel 2.4.20-20.8
SystemImager 3.0.1-4
SystemInstaller 1.0.1-1
SystemConfigurator 2.0.8-1
SysLinux 2.0.1
tftp 0.29.3
