I'm not able to get CVS compiled

cp -a /root/systemimager/initrd_source/src/udpcast/udp-receiver
/root/systemimager/initrd_source/build_dir/bin

/root/systemimager/initrd_source/build_dir/sbincp -a
/root/systemimager/initrd_source/src/modutils-2.4.26/insmod/modprobe
/root/systemimager/initrd_source/build_dir/sbin

( cd /root/systemimager/initrd_source/build_dir && \
  /usr/bin/python /root/systemimager/initrd_source/mklibs -v -d lib
./*bin/* )
  File "/root/systemimager/initrd_source/mklibs", line 230
print >> outfd, "Usage: mklibs [OPTION]... -d DEST FILE ..."

that is using gcc 3.2.3 on RedHat Advanced Workstation 2.1 doing a make
install_server_all.

I was able to get the 3.1.8 devel rpm release kinda working. I had to
increase my tmpfs_size, and do some things manually to get flamethrower to
work, such as creating my own /etc/systemimager/flamethrower.conf file and
adding some extra modules to it for scripts and boot. Also, I have to
restart flamethrowerd everytime the client makes a multicast request for
each stage, that is kinda weird. But, after all that, it worked with a
single node install, thought it took a lot longer. It creates that
massive multicast.tar file and then untar's it. However, I was able to do
2 nodes at the same time, which was very cool.

Any idea why the cvs version fails to compile? I'd like to try that out
