As suggested by Dann Frazier, I removed the verbosity from line 494 of
getimage. The resulting error messages don't help my ignorant mind too
much. Any ideas?

Again, I'm not sure if hard NFS mounts will screw this getimage process
up. Does anyone know if they will ? I'm stumped.
