I, for one, would be extremely interested in this functionality..

We're in the same situation.  We use SI for our clusters, and to distribute our
custom Linux distribution.  Currently we just allow people to install off our
image server, but after a recent UK->NZ install which took 2 days physical
media distribution is starting to look more appealing :)

I would be interested in your scripts for this if you would be willing to
