Leandro,

I have gotton my x86_64 SI server running from teh packages of 3.2.3. Here are the
things I had to go through in order to get it working correctly...

1. Download the tar file for x86_64 and place in the platforms directory (I will get
the link to the file and exact dir lcoation when I am back at my server)
2. Remove the references in mkautoinstall* checking for platform. Line 115 I think
off hand in the mkautoinstalldiskette.
3. Place the x86_64 boot files into the x386 dir when I created my boot cd's.

With this done I was able to image a x86_64 server.

Hope this helps..I will try and get more details for you later once I am back in the
office and can look at my Si server.

Subject: [BULK] - Re: [Sisuite-users] x86_64 architecture experiences
with systemimager

I'm getting a lot of problems too with systemimager and x86_64 machines.
I have tried *ALL* available versions without sucess. The errors
apears in a lot of diferent places and i can go more far with 3.4.0rc1
version.

What's wrong with this architeture? Anyone is testing it? Some versions,
like 3.3.2, dosen't have any support, or mention, for x86_64! The
kernel.rul error in version 3.2.3 is pretty obivious, and shows me that:
  Systemimager dosen't support x86_64!

In my last attempt to build a systemimager server on an x86_64 running
RedHat Enterprise WS 3 was a disaster, and i have tried to compile just
the boot package to put on a existing Xeon systemimager server i have
and i don't have sucess either.

Anyone have systemimager running with sucess on an x86_64 cluster? I
have tried all i can reach to put this working, and now i quit.... If
Anyone can give some help, it will be great!!!

Thanks in advance,

Regards,
