I am using Debian Linux kernel 2.4.27-1-386
After booting off a mkautoinstallcd I get the following message at the bottom of my console.
The machine is a compaq proliant DL140.
Mounted devfs on /dev
Freeing unused kernel memory 336k freed
Init started: BusyBox v 0.60.3 ( 2005.01.11-20:26+0000) multi-call binary
The computer locks up and I have to cold boot.
