Check and see what the permissions are on the root directory on that machine (you will probably need to boot to knoppix, etc). If they aren't what you would expect, check the image directory (ll -d /var/lib/systemimager/images/YOUR_IMAGE) and make sure that it is something like 755 ( drwxr-xr-x ...)
