Here is additional information from when I had to SI my Compaq server
with a CCISS subsystem for the drives...

Devices used for imaging...

>From autoinstallscript

---Lines from creating the partitions...
parted -s -- /dev/cciss/disc0/disc print

---Lines from making the file systems...
mke2fs -j /dev/cciss/disc0/part3 || shellout

Devices used in fstab after imaging to allow for grub and other utils to
work properly.

>From /etc/fstab
/dev/cciss/c0d1p1 /export/ftp ext3 defaults 1 2
/dev/cciss/c0d2p1 /export/archives ext3 defaults 1 2

Notice the partitions are reference COMPLETELY different in the
autoinstall script and then after the reboot. This is due to driver
versions for the cciss driver being different.

Hope this helps out some.

Bryan

I should have also mentioned what makes this bug particularly nasty is
that if doesn't cause SI to fail! Rather the machine simply reboots and

continues along it's merry way so unless you're watching closely you
don't even realize it happed!
