Hi Karen:

SystemImager 3.5.3 is included in the latest release of OSCAR 4.2 - we
use it extensively for imaging cluster nodes.  There are some minor
bugs, but nothing major - we do not however regularly test
functionalities like si_updateclient, etc.

Executive summary: It is a development release, but we think it is
stable enough to be used.

I think Ashley just posted an updated documentation on how to install -
but if you are installing on a RPM-based systems, you can try to grab
the prebuilt RPMs (including bootstandards for x86, ia64, x86_64) in our
SVN repository.
