Hello, As I have many IBM Server machines I am compiling a custom 2.4.21 kernel with Qlogic ip23xx.o support for systemimager autoinstall (network boot) clients.
to create the kernel and initrd image I issue the command: ./mkbootpackage --kernel /usr/src/linux-2.4.21-37.EL/arch/i386/boot/bzImage --from-flavor standard --new-flavor sisi --modules-dir /lib/modules/2.4.21-37.EL --modules qla2300 It exists correctly and then I copy the kernel and initrd.img file to my /tftpboot directory When I try to boot the client, it boots the kernel and loads the initrd image but on the boot process when I guess It has to mount the root it says "Warning: Unable to find inital console" and it stays there.
