On the Windows side I think you have to look to issues like SID and renaming along with merely capturing the particular partition. I recall hearing some people talk about doing this awhile ago with dual-boot boxes and trying to drag along the Windows partition (helped if it was Fat32) with some success but varying degrees of problems.
